1150 kV Itatskaya SS

• The switchyard rated voltage, kV - 500.
• The 500 kV switchyard existing scheme at 1150 kV Itatskaya SS - 1 1/2 circuit breaker scheme.
• Quantity of the lines connected to the substation, per each switchgear - 500 kV one line: 500 kV OVL to Berezovskaya GRES (No.3). Six lines have been reconnected to other bays.
• The power transformers and auto transformers quantity and capacity are АТ1 and АТ2 of the АОДЦТН-167000/500/220-У1 type (existing). 
• Static Reactive Power Compensator quantity and capacity – Group out of 3 single-phase shunting reactors 60000/500 – (to be installed).

Brief Description of Main Solutions

In terms of administrative aspect the routing of the 500 kV OVL Berezovskaya GRES - Itatskaya No.3 SS (OVL-522) passes through the territory of Sharypovsky district of Krasnoyarsk region.

The starting point of the 500 kV OVL routing to be designed is the 500 kV switchyard at Berezovskaya GRES located in the south-west suburb of Dubinino village. The final point is the bay No. 24 at the 500 kV switchyard of 1150/500 kV Itatskaya SS.

At the 500 kV switchyard outlet at Berezovskaya GRES and in the area Ug.1 - Ug.4 the 500 kV OVL to be designed passes through the space between the existing 500 kV OVL supports (the old supports have been dismantled), further along all the length the routing has been laid within one space between two 500 kV OVL at Berezovskaya GRES - Itatskaya Nos.1, 2 SS, 500 kV OVL at Berezovskaya GRES - Sharypovskaya SS from the western part at the 80-150 m distance.

At the 1150 kV Itatskaya SS is to be installed the reserve shunting reactor of 3x60 МVAr capacity in the junction between two circuit breakers. Provided for is the construction of one gate valve switching-over chamber of the 6x6 m dimensions and the underground fire-fighting system water reservoir of 2x150 m3 volume, the oiled water treatment plants, dismantling the old fencing and construction of the new inner and outer fencing structures. Additional ground excavation is provided for the 500 kV switchyard to be extended.

The reconstruction was started in 2012.

The construction was completed in 2013.
