Brief Description of Main Solutions
«Polyarnaya» TPP is intended for creation of electric power source with the aim to meet the ever-growing demand of AA Yamalo-Nenets in electric power (power rating), as well as in electric power (power rating) realization at the wholesale market, reliability enhancement of the electric power supply of the region and the heat power supply to Salekhard city.
The designing has been carried out in two stages in conformity with the start-up complexes:
The 1st start-up complex based on:
- one gas turbine of SGT-600 type with water heating waste heat recovery boiler SteamGen8 ТМ and bypass gas duct, enabling the waste heat recovery boiler to be disconnected in case of no heat loads;
- two gas turbines V93.2 in the simple cycle with further possibility of extension up to PGU (Steam & Gas Plant).
The 2nd start-up complex:
- extension of two gas turbines V93.2 by means of installation of two steam waste-heat recovery boilers and the condensing steam turbine SST-800 with no steam extractions.
The construction started in 2012, at present it is blocked.
