Main technical solutions

Reconstruction of eight substations is carried out with the introduction of a new automated process control system (APCS).

The grounds for the development of this feasibility study are:

  • investment program of NEC "Ukrenergo";
  • plans for the future integration of the South-Western energy system of Ukraine into ENTSO-E.

In connection with the introduction of the automated process control system of a substation with a depth of automation, which should ensure the possibility of operating the substation in an automated mode, without the presence of permanent maintenance personnel, the feasibility study is supposed to replace:

  • main equipment of 330 kV switchgear (disconnectors);
  • main equipment of 330 kV switchgear (switches, disconnectors);
  • main equipment of 110 kV switchgear (switches, disconnectors);
  • SCHVP 0.4 kV;
  • electromechanical relay protection devices on modern MP.

The project is planned to be implemented in 2023-24.
