Main technical solutions
Reconstruction of eight substations is carried out with the introduction of a new automated process control system (APCS).
The grounds for the development of this feasibility study are:
- investment program of NPC "Ukrenergo";
- plans for the future integration of Ukrainian energy system into ENTSO-E.
In connection with the introduction of the automated process control system of a substation with a depth of automation, which should ensure the possibility of operating the substation in an automated mode, without the presence of permanent maintenance personnel, the feasibility study is supposed to replace:
- main equipment of 330 kV switchgear (disconnectors);
- main equipment of 330 kV switchgear (switches, disconnectors);
- main equipment of 110 kV switchgear (switches, disconnectors);
- auxiliary switchboard 0.4 kV;
- electromechanical relay protection devices on modern microprocessors.
The project is going to be implemented in 2023-24.
